One of the most beloved performers of Italian cinema. She made her film debut at a very young age and has worked across four decades of auteur cinema with masters such as Pupi Avati, Ferzan Özpetek, Paolo Sorrentino, Gabriele Muccino and Carlo Verdone.
Among her most memorable films are Sapore di mare, Caos calmo, Saturno contro and Una giornata particolare. Winner of numerous awards including Nastri d'Argento and David di Donatello, she will be the guest of the festival's opening night and will dialogue with the audience after the screening.
