Francis is a troubled girl who struggles through her adolescence, especially after a fight with her best friend, who has turned all their classmates against her. Her only safe refuges are bike rides and playing the piano, but these offer only temporary relief from the pain. She feels wrong and inadequate. Is she really the monster everyone thinks she is?
